Yearly Update 2025

Pokemon All-Stars VR

Pokemon VR is finally almost done. There are still a few more levels to make, but most of the programming is done. I'm mainly waiting on saving a little more funds from my current job so I can pay any remaining voice actors and buy any more level assets. The game looks fantastic, I'm so excited for everyone to finally play it. I had some help with the Shaders and UI, so it looks like a real game now. I also improved the voice recognition 10 fold. The Non-VR testers seemed to have fun with it too! If you're interested in testing, or maybe want the demo early, please reach out! Oh also, go watch the trailers on my YouTube if you haven't seen them!

As for other stuff, JaiDawgEngine is going really well. I started a new project that is kind of like a mix of Deltarune and Balatro, as in its a turn based fighting game, but you use poker-hands to deal attacks and get modifiers. This is a 2D game however, so I've setup a fancy compiler flag which now lets the engine build for 2D! Of course, the Jai compiler is still not public, so you'll have to wait before you can actually build the engine... but you can look at the code! Thats fun! I'll post videos of it to Twitter and Bsky when they come up. I have a lot of plans still for the Voxel game, but I think I'm going to continue to be very hush hush about it. It's my dream game. I've thought about it every day for the last 3 years. The prototype felt so great to work on, I just don't think I'm at a point where hunkering down and working on it is too wise. There will come a time, it's just not now.
